Harem Scare ‘em

Donnie looked around for an exit. The glass on the windows looked far too thick to smash easily, and the drop would have killed him anyway. The bedroom door was the only way out.

Could he hide in the wardrobe perhaps? He threw open the wardrobe door, shoved the clothing aside, and pulled the door closed behind him.

A rhythmic thumping sound began at the bedroom door. Donnie hoped it wasn’t what he thought it was.

‘I know you’re in there,’ yelled Panix, ‘You must come out so that I can ravish you before the party!’

No. Thank. You.

Donnie stayed resolutely where he was.

‘I’ve got everyone on your guest list! It was very hard!’ A pause. ‘You said it was the only way you’d let me near you, so I found them all!’

Donnie said nothing. He calmed his mind in an attempt to access his memories and find out what this body had been up to.

Why is Panix acting like this, wondered Donnie.  Yes, he was attracted to Daisy, but to me?

‘If you don’t come out, I’ll sing your favourite song!’

That’s a new one, thought Donnie, momentarily distracted. What is my favourite song? Something by Doris Day perhaps? Breakfast at Tiffany’s …?

‘It’s Now or Never!’ screeched Panix.
